Colour, texture and cost are critical factors but equally important are technical suitability, availability, continuity and unit size relative to extraction criteria.
Early consultation is essential to understanding and feeling at ease with designing in natural stone and Fyfe Glenrock can assist with the selection process, bringing to the attention of the client the numerous suitable alternatives and their merits and de-merits relative to a particular project.
Design with experience … Fyfe Glenrock offers a complete design service using modern CAD technology. Extensive design-team experience, built over many years, will ensure that the final product matches the client’s design concept.
Natural stone samples can be viewed at our stone library or sales rooms and if required they can be delivered to the client’s office.
Once a stone has been selected and its full colour variation approved, it can be sourced and taken into stock at our factory.
Create with quality … Working to stringent quality control systems and British and European Standards, production programmes are prepared to ensure that agreed delivery commitments are achieved. Working drawings are prepared from approved architect’s and engineer’s drawings and following client approval are issued to the allocated manufacturing process.
Strict inspection examinations are undertaken throughout to maintain accuracy of manufacture and consistency of surface finish. Individual stones are identified in accordance with working drawings in order to ensure that site installation is problem free.
When a client specifies a particular non-stock natural stone it can be imported and held in stock until all project details are finalised and manufacture is ready to commence. This unique service is exclusive to Fyfe Glenrock and can greatly facilitate product availability and programme.
