Having selected the material of your choice, together with the required edge profiles and features the next step would be for you to provide us with a sketch or drawings with dimensions to enable us to send you a quotation. If you have any questions or queries at this stage our experienced and friendly staff will be only too willing to assist.

Having decided that you wish to proceed with your order, in our experience the following steps lead to the best results …

What do you need to do? 

1. Make sure that all the cabinet carcasses are fixed and secured in their final position.
2. Make sure that all the cabinets are level.
3. Make sure that all the fittings [sinks, hobs, taps etc] are on site to ensure correct and accurate measurement.

What Fyfe Glenrock will do for you …

1. The first step … templating. When the order is placed we will arrange with you a convenient time for an appointment to template.
2. The second step … manufacture.  

• The selected stone slabs are inspected
• The slabs are cut to size and shape based on the template dimensions
• The edges are profiled and polished
• The features are cut and shaped on our modern machines
• Our highly skilled masons undertake final finishing and inspection

3. The third step … fitting     

• We arrange with you a suitable date for fitting

  Our highly experienced team will carefully transfer the stone units from our transport and each piece is skilfully placed in position on your cabinets

  The pieces are carefully aligned and levelled

  The pieces are secured to the carcase with silicone glue and the joints sealed with stone resin

  All features such as splash backs and up stands are secured last

  The units are left for 24 hours to allow for the adhesive to set before your plumber fixes the taps, sink etc.

4. The fourth step … step back and admire your beautiful work tops
